Laura is our Deputy Manager and it would be fair to say she helps keep Cavell Healthcare shipshape!
Although Laura has only been with Cavell for 5 and a half years, she has been in the care sector for 19 years – a career she chose because she says she has always had a caring nature and wanted her work to be something where she could support people.
Day to day, Laura is responsible for overseeing all the care that Cavell Healthcare delivers, making sure clients needs are met and that the exceptional standards of care on which we pride ourselves are always met. Laura is also responsible for managing our live–in carers. Although largely based in the office, Laura does also go out on the road and says this is important, as she loves getting to know the clients and also the carers, and building relationships with them.
Her colleagues have nothing but praise for Laura, describing her as hard-working, loyal, devoted, kind and caring and this is reflected in the fact that in her spare time she loves nothing more than spending time with her family.
