Sam is one of our dedicated Field Care Managers.
One of the newest members of the team, having only joined us recently, Sam is experienced in the sector with over 5 years working in healthcare. Prior to joining the sector she worked in accountancy and says she had always wanted to work in care but was nervous about whether she could do it, but she decided to bite the bullet and says she has never looked back!
As a Field Care Manager Sam is responsible for carrying out audits, managing care plans, undertaking risk assessments and shift planning, as well as managing personal care. She is largely based in the office but does go out on the road as she feels it is important to keep in touch with clients and staff.
Sam says she absolutely loves her new job with Cavell as she loves looking after people and meeting new people. She also says her colleagues are fantastic and when asked what her hobbies are, Sam simply says “work!”. She is so glad she made the shift to the care sector and warmly encourages anyone else to give it a go as it is so rewarding.
