I hope you don’t mind me emailing you but I really had to take a few minutes to reaffirm something you probably already know and that is what a truly remarkable woman Anne is.

I can’t begin to tell you how she has helped us during her time looking after my sister. The local reverend summed it up perfectly when he said ‘you landed on your feet when Anne entered your lives’ and no truer words have been spoken.

Anne’s constant support and kindness helped get me through many a tough moment. Her undivided attention and the unique bond they cemented in their time together made us feel like she was one of the family and whenever we had to leave, it always gave us great comfort to know XX was completely safe & cared for.

I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for the unfaltering care and attention Anne gave, for the love & support she showed to me & my mum and I will be eternally grateful Anne came into our lives to help us all through such a sad & tragic time in our lives.

I don’t know if you have any sort of outstanding award you give to your carers but if you do please can you nominate Anne on our behalf please. The last few months have been so unbelievably difficult to comprehend and deal with and I know the final stages would have been impossible without Anne’s love & dedication.

Dear Laura

I often think of you and Sarah, with grateful feelings for the care the two of you extended to mummy and I recognise how special you and Sarah are as carers and I hope that you are both well.
