We recently had the chance to discuss our work with the Chair of NHS Norfolk and Waveney Patricia Hewitt.
Patricia met Cavell Healthcare’s managing director Gordon Anderson and some of our team while visiting the headquarters of East Coast Community Healthcare in Lowestoft.
They discussed Cavell’s journey since its inception in 2016 and how having ECCH as a parent company will enable Cavell to look to provide a wider range of services for clients, as well as potentially creating opportunities for staff to further develop their skills.
Patricia was keen to hear about Cavell’s work with Norfolk and Waveney ICB’s Home First service which assists people to come out of hospital and enables them to be cared for at home, whilst also freeing up hospital beds for those who need them.
She also learned about Cavell’s future plans which include the potential to increase our use of technology to support clients and the possibility of extending our care offering to other parts of Norfolk and Suffolk.
