Cavell shortlisted for nine awards

We have been shortlisted for nine Great British Care Awards for the East of England region.

Cavell Healthcare is a finalist in the Home Care Employer of the Year category and Care Manager Laura Panter is a finalist in the Care Innovator and Frontline Leader categories. Field Care Supervisor Joanne Williams has been shortlisted as Care Assessor of the Year and Carer Chipo Dakwa as best Care Newcomer.

Operations Manager Victoria Lee has been shortlisted in the Workforce Development category. Amy Hudson is a finalist for Home Care Co-ordinator, Rachel Chettleburgh for Home Care Manager and General Manager Gordon Anderson, who founded Cavell Healthcare seven years ago is shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution to Care award.

The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work. There are 21 awards categories in total representing all areas of the social care sector, whether it be older people or specialist services, residential or home care.

A ceremony will be held on 3rd November in Milton Keynes with the winners going through to the national finals in Birmingham next March.
